Got 50$ into my moneybookers account today from Tower Affiliate programm. Deposited them. Let's see how it will go. I hate 10NL, so SNG's, I guess. I have no fucking idea.

HOLY SHIT! I won nothing after that!

Yes. Yesterday checked the stats for the big pots I lost in last three weeks - I lost to three-outers or worse in 21% of hands. Got my money in good a whooping 91%. I really start to believe in "doomswitch".

BUT! Now I have my cool laptop. It's amazing I tell you.

So nothing interesting in poker world over here.

But I have good news as well - this Saturday in some metal gig [without live bands] I will be a fcuking dj and everybody will listen my "technical death session" for a cool hour. Nice.

Now I have on my account the exact amount of monies to buy my laptop of choice - Acer Aspire 7730. Every day my cursor slowly crawls to that "cash out" button, but I have a courage to not click it - it would leave me without bankroll and I do not want grind out 10NL again.

Still floating around 1k.

Was really on life tilt lately.

Did I mentioned, my girl left me?

So, yeah - life tilt.

Reached 1k. Ain't that nice?!

Yeah. I do not know, if I will sustain that [I really would like to], but this mourning I reached the new milestone - now my account has over 1k in it. From 30$ in 12th of august to 1035$ today - I guess we can call it a progress. Thus far I play mainly 50NL with occasional jump to 100NL when I feel like it or there are too few 50NL tables [I play mostly in mournings, so traffic is lower].

Well, I am still hovering at 50NL. Played very little due to some personal problems [adventures] in love/family front. We almost broke up with my girlfriend, but now it's fine again. I guess. I do not know.

Anyhoo, that's the "progress", if we can call it. Just bumped in to throw in the link to one funny thread in 2+2 - "How to be a fish in a casino". Here's some good pointers:

-When you get your holecards and it's your turn to act say "Hit Me!"
-Assuming you're playing NLHE, ask if aces can be used for High or Low
-If in a cash game, ask how rebuys you're allowed to have
-Wear a Moneymaker t-shirt
-Keep drawing attention to the table's "chipleader" if in a cash game
-Ask the dealer permission to use the bathroom
-Ask where the hole card camera is
-Keep trying to post the BB in any positoin
-After you get 1 hole card immediately fold
-On the river ask if you can buy a 6th card
-When counting out chips always do it in stacks of 1 chip
-Use a bowling ball for a card protector
-In a cash game, ask when the blinds are going up
-Keep looking around and asking where Mike and Vince are
-Always ask whats the most you can raise
-Raise all bets by $1
-Whenever you get a suicide king or one-eyed jack play it like it's wild
-Ask if you can phone a friend
-When it's your turn to act roll two dice across the table
-Show everyone your chip trick, which is just throwing a chip as high as possible
-Stack your chips like a castle with an entrance for your holecards
-fold your cards with your forehead

So far there's no difference

Moved to 50NL yesterday. Right now seems, there are no difference in play from 30NL. People drawing much more, though - if a guy have a flushdraw, he will pay anything to get there. Also shortstacks [20bb] will push with just everything. Some guy wanted to push me off of the pot of 15$ with 3$ all-in bet! That was fun really.

Anyhow, due to some beats [I mean, somebody sometimes actually got there] I am still braking even at this level. But I am certain, that I will play smart and don't do anything funky, I'll be up in no time. Let's hope for it!

Swongs noone interested in

Last days was a real rollercoaster. I am constantly beated after money's in ahead [and I am not talking about coinflips here] and some swing been as big as one third of whole bankroll. As a large number of europeans, I switched from FullTilt to ongame network. To TowerGaming. Well, if that's all true about those bonuses they offer - I will never look back. Except for some tourneys and some star's ass busting.

After about half a year I will finally play some live pokar with unknown dudes - local forum makes a cashgame tomorrow, so You can be sure I will post a review here. Should be interesting. I promise!

I busted out 4th, when, being second in chips, I clashed with chipleader. My A9 was good vs. his KQ until the river, where the fucking king arrived. Fuck! Three damn hours, making plays between work and hiding from the boss'es eyes. FUCK!!! I am pissed.

But proud of myself a little, too. It's a shame I didn't get any material goods though!

Update. Damn update

Nothing really has changed over these months. I'm still without computer, but playing at work suck so much, that I don't enjoy it even a little. Still I managed to try the new Poker Tracker software and I am really stoked - it does the job faster and better and the hud looks good. When all this shit will end, I will buy this one for sure [I will even get a discount due my PAHud purchase earlier].

I am forking on new project, what will hopefully end our [I mean my family] struggle and will put things right. This is project I really love and if all works out I will send out our best beer to fellow bloggers, who found a time to say some good words to me over the past year. If I forget it - remind me!

Still I manage to play live poker at work about once a week. These are great times - have fun and make money. Of course, money isn't that big, but it's something.

Just a moments ago saw a video with well-known-poker-pro-from-DUKE. I just can't figure out, do I want to laugh or cry... hah.

There's just some days, you're feeling that damn life tilt more strongly

Today I felt so fucking tired of all this "no-monies" life, that has been an issue for me for last four months, I wanted just to get drunk hard, even it's friday's mourning and I got to go to work. If I had some money, I don't know... There's just some days, you're feeling that life tilt more strongly.

There's good news, though, too. Girlfriend found a job. Weeeee! So after a month or so I will have some break. At least I hope so. Also there's a possibility to get a computer via my work - a good one, with 24" monitor [no, I don't think here about multitabling. I am thinking about designing I will be able to do at home and earn extra buck], 4GB RAM and some hyper videocard. But, as we say sometimes here in Latvia, "hopes are stupid man's relief". Or something like that.

Oh, and there's an extra - long forgotten lease company finally remembered me and now asks their funds back. Today gonna make a call to them and will try to talk my way through. Hope it works out. In big picture I even don't know, what they can do to me, apart of braking my bones. Nothing really. I have nothing.

Well, it's in my personal life. Again! My girlfriend is out of work, so all living expenses is on me and it's getting really hard to get a decent living now. Again! That struggling with money is not a vacation. I even thought to sell my laptop [yes, exactly the same one, that crashed recently], but I do all I can not leave myself without poker and other stupid things I do at home. Besides, I finally start to climb out of that shithole I put myself into almost busting my account. Feeling confident in my game. Darn

Got contacted by few new bloggers via Poker Disasters and 2+2. Always nice to hear something from someone! Let's say hi to Dan with his daily grind and Munchers, who have chosen really weird name for his blog: "Becoming Poker". Ok, whatever - those dudes will be linked in blog list as soon as I get around to it.

Oh, yes, Johnny Hughes [the writer] contacted me on 2+2 also. Even if that was some sort of spam had a little chat with him. Nice.
