So far there's no difference

Moved to 50NL yesterday. Right now seems, there are no difference in play from 30NL. People drawing much more, though - if a guy have a flushdraw, he will pay anything to get there. Also shortstacks [20bb] will push with just everything. Some guy wanted to push me off of the pot of 15$ with 3$ all-in bet! That was fun really.

Anyhow, due to some beats [I mean, somebody sometimes actually got there] I am still braking even at this level. But I am certain, that I will play smart and don't do anything funky, I'll be up in no time. Let's hope for it!

Behold - here will be some stuff from live game! Soon! [not now, obv.]

As a large number of europeans, I switched from FullTilt to ongame network. To TowerGaming. Well, if that's all true about those bonuses they offer - I will never look back. Except for some tourneys and some star's ass busting.

After about half a year I will finally play some live pokar with unknown dudes - local forum makes a cashgame tomorrow, so You can be sure I will post a review here. Should be interesting. I promise!

About candy... no candy - don't know why, none of my browsers [firefox, opera, ie] want to let me upload files. This shit must end! Buy me a laptop!

Ultimate Poker Face [not associated with UB in an way]

Well, this is interview with Gorgoroth frontman Gaahl [Kristian Espedal] . If You have no interest in black metal, just skip to the 6:24 - this is just awesome. Two and a half minutes of silence and zero movement.

I guess interviewer shitted his pants, when Gaahl looked at him after that world class pause.

On other note - some interesting words about Power Hold'em Strategy - I think You should read them before spending any cash on it.

Brain starts working. Slowly, but still. Wait me at the tables. Finally!

Sklansky's "Theory Of Poker" is finished. Did said that already at 2+2 and will say that here also - as a first book for novice player, TOP is a bitch. B.I.T.C.H. Nevertheless, it's done. The second book I took from the shelf is Largay's NLTH and I find it easy to read and very valuable. I am already done half of it and will do at least one reread for sure.

As I wrote before - I am broke. But there comes Christmas and 13th salary, so I will definetly make a deposit and start to work on things I read. Also I consider to get Idle Miner, but there are some worries about will my laptop be powerful enough. But, otherwise - well spent 50 bucks, imo.

As always - broke and tilted! But learning!

Yeah... First thing is, that I am too good as a person. Nobody want to pay in time for freelance jobs you've done. So I needed to withdraw almost anything I had on my FTP account [good thing is, that deposits are processed within seconds, but withdrawals take at least ten days - what a joy!]. The rest from the account I managed to tilt away, sooo.... zero-zero-zero. Seconds thing - Christmas. Thanks to all commercialization, I must find fund to presents, and that's not helping overall situation either.

Let's start to learn! Finally...

But there are plus signs, too. Got the whole library in [about my Amazon purchase You can read here]. First book I read was about Stu Ungar - just wanted something easy at the time. And that book IS easy. Not as deep as I imagined. But the good thing is, that you just storm through pages - not stumble against every second sentence. Anyways, now I am in the middle of Theory Of Poker. Man, that's a bitch! I even had a temptation to drop that book, but, I guess, I am not that ungutsy, so I promised myself to go through it. With clear mind, not just because... After that... I don't know - Gordon books or Harrington books. We'll see.

And my old friend Adil showed up - he's now a prospering coach at GrindersSchool. I think I will join them, too. When I got some extra bucks to spend. [I am waiting for a discount for this reference, hah!]

Ok. And to brighten things even more up, here's one of the most georgeous women I've seen lately [except my girlfriend, of course].

I am just as good as Daniel Negreanu / EPT is way better than WSOP

Yes! At least in one aspect: "Yes, I am pretty sure, you have me beat, but I will pay you that value bet to see that!". And those stupid wizard moves add up to pretty significant moneys overall. So after three days of playing it's time to spend some time reviewing hands and plug that leak. At least a little.

Was watching 3rd season of EPT recently and got to admit, that commentators are the waaay better, than in other shows. They having fun and that's a good thing. We don't hear about marriages and wifes all the time, as we are used to while watching WSOP.

Long post about beauty of cashgames and Sepultura, about best review about Harrah's / other stuff and candy

Yeah, baby! This weekend was very great! Fryday's evening finally decided to play cash after a while and remembered, why those are the best. They are better than sit'n'goes. From now on I have a plan to focus on cashgames most of my playing time. But now I will mix them with MTT's - I guess mostly I'll be chasing 26$ tokens.

The best thing for me in cash, is that blinds stick the same. I am still too rocky and tight for tournaments and it couses great pain to me to play speculative hands in tourneys.

So, yeah, as You understood, friday was cool. Saturdays mourning was even better - about that time, when it's mourning over here, it's about 24:00-03:00 in america, so many drunk moves are made. Lovely!

After a good run for couple hours my stomack was asking for beer! It came the time of selebration - after just about five hours I would be in Sepultura concert!

REVIEW: Poker Bustouts

Yep! As promised - the review of documentary Poker Bustouts.

I will not mention here any namaes of players, couse, frankly, they are not those stars everybody know of.

This documentary haven't plot as such - it is one big interview with about 15 poker players, who do that for a living. And they are all different as personalities - that's what makes this film so good. From homeless cowboy to father and husband - it's all been covered. The most interesting thing is, that viewer can see, what's ir all about and this isn't a Hollywood movie with happy [or so] ending. It hasn't any ending, actually.
There are about four or five segments, the film is divided to, such as bankroll management, bad beats, life being a player... We got to see some experienced and succesful players talking and then we are thrown to some bacalley, were "no money, no home, no family" talks about strategy.

I guess, everybody should see this film and make his own decision what was it about. For every person it will be different. For me, for example, it was film about family values. We need to love and guard what we have - out significant others, friends. Couse if we will not do that, we will turn into casino freaks with no soul. Yes, I guess, the main message was: guard Your soul! Don't loose it! Love the game, prosper in it, but don't let it capture all your life.

Poker Bustouts.

REVIEW: No Limit: A Search for the American Dream on the Poker Tournament Trail

NOTE! Bad words used. I am not rude person, it's just a way it must be told. And this is my own personal subjective view of things.

To be short - don't buy it!

The plot : "...A bi-coastal couple, Susan and Tim, carry their independent film company and four-year-old son on an eight month ride through the world of tournament poker. Their plan: Play in six high-stakes poker tournaments. Win some money. Document their journey. Save their company...."

The player is Susan Genard and she plays Omaha and Stud. Also this movie features a lot of significant pro players, who tell you bit something about poker world.

This movie I would like to divide in two parts: "Susan and shit" and "Quotes of the pros".

Quotes of the pros

The best part of this film. I guess nobody will hear there anything new, but it's interesting to see all those people to say a little something about this and that. These quotes [not longer than minute] are scattered throughout all films lenght.

Susan and shit

Ok, I will not talk about her poker game as such, couse stakes we play are not the same, nor format [cash vs. tourney]. I will talk about all these scenes of life between her and her "husband".

Everybody have white spots and black spots. What I don't understand, why the hell those black spots should be shown in front of other people and ask money for that. In this movie [do-cu-men-ta-ry] first plan person around whom the film is made, is egoistic and dull bitch. Believe me, I tend to see films from beginning to end, but here I barely made past 20 minutes. Through the whole movie we see stupid person bragging about bad luck and "shitting over" her "husband". Believe me - there's nothing more.

Husband is under the question mark also. My bet is, he loves kids [they got three] and stays with that woman just becouse of them. But sometimes I just can't understand, how, I mean HOW the man can live with person, who call you an idiot almost in every sentence? Ok, maybe I am too old to understand [27], but, God, I hope I will never turn to such a weak boy as he is.

Funny thing is, in the films ending part Susan discovers she's pregnant. I bet "husband" isn't really sure of all things...

Just trust me on one main thing - DON'T PAY MONEY FOR IT!!!

REVIEW: Barry Greenstein's "Ace On The River"

OK. My first review. I made it as short as possible.

Let’s start as all people do – from the end of the book.

Well. Yes, tournament poker is the most popular in the world, and „Ace On The River“ doesn’t make and exception and pays it’s dept to it – although Barry is a cash game player by his own definition, the hand histories, presented in book is only from tournaments.

The hand histories and explanations of ways, how author played them, are wery well presented. But, in the same time, they leave much room to make a reader his own analysis.

I guess, the main reason, why they are interesting and not similar to all other books telling you, is personification. Barry strongly encourages to make us to make our own decisions, as long as they are well thought through. And this could be one of the main things, most of the books lack to do.

Without hands, there are lot's of hints and tips presented in very interesting and casual manner.

Overall the book is very interesting. But I just CAN’T say, that this book is about poker game. It’s about poker life. Different angles of game itself, society, dirty ones and good ones. It’s a book written from perspective of real man, not cards and numbers. You almost get that smell of the room described, feel that stuborness after significant loss.

I could compare „AOTR“ with math book with which you can really sit in that train, what goes from point A to point B. You won’t regret.
